Why did you start boxing and how old were you?

I started boxing because I wanted to be a world champion, and I was nine years old then.

Who is your favourite all-time fighter and why?

Canelo Alvarez, because he’s a very clever boxer and a champ at many different weights.

 

What is the best fight you have seen, either live or on television?

The best fight I have seen is the fight between is the second fight between Canelo Alvarez and GGG.

What is your best achievement in boxing so far? 

My best achievement in boxing so far is becoming an Olympic bronze medallist and also an African Gold medallist.

Who is the toughest opponent you’ve faced and why?

My toughest opponent, Mohammed Amoud, was the African number one.

What are your strengths and weaknesses as a boxer?

My strengths are my skillset and my boxing IQ. Weaknesses? I can’t tell you that!

What is your best piece of advice for boxing training? 

My best piece of advice in boxing training is to be disciplined, determined and focused.

What is your favourite meal and restaurant? 

I don’t go to restaurants. I eat at home.

Mohammed Aryeetey.

Footballer.

What is the one thing you would change about professional boxing?

Better opportunities for African fighters.

Michael B Jordan.

When was the last time you cried, and why?

The last time I cried was when I lost my three siblings to illness.

What is the best advice you’ve ever received?

The best advice I have ever received is to make the right decision!

What is the worst rumour you have heard about yourself?

That I’m disrespectful.
